Visited Countries

Calling all wayfarer!

Have you ever gazed at the world map for a whole day and thinking how amazing they look like, the landscape, the seamless coastline, the irregular and sometimes geometrical national border, the seemingly random names like Red Sea, the unknown countries’ name that sounds like out of Earth. This is our world, the global village we live in.

I was fascinated by the world since I was a kid. My first book was the world atlas given by my mother. It is basically a giant world map showing no country boundaries but with distinctive features, landmarks, culture and local produces disproportionately mark on each region. I used to play “travel-the-world-in-one-minute” on the book.
I want to write the stories of each city, to sense, and feel the soul of the city. I assure you that each of it is unique and dazzling, awaiting travelers to explore the treasure within.

Every city on Earth has a lot to offer and each has come by a long way of history of diverse background and culture. Perhaps, the city is constantly growing with new landmarks or story of its human. If you take your time to access the city’s memories in your own way, however, the rewards are worthwhile. The answer you are looking for maybe hidden in the alleyway of the old town or simply a sumptuous local cuisine!

So what I am going to show you is the kaleidoscope of cities in the world through my idiosyncratic yet eccentric lenses and share the experience and lessons I have gained throughout the years of journey. Of course, please don’t be shy to share yours too!

I wonder if the people in this city are getting enough sleep, as I wouldn't want to sleep so that I can behold this glistening city for a little bit longer.     - Bosphorous, Istanbul
